The birthday party wasn't the surprise, the surprise was the shorter hair. If you at the before & after pix,she looks more subdued after the cut.

Yes, as they say a picture speaks a thousand words. I had earlier posted another 'after' pic in which Cheryl looked really sad, but I replaced it with the 'after' pic where she is looking up.
Anyway, Cheryl has accepted the shorter hair.
